This is the latest production run of this model. In addition to the draw bar between the loco and tender there are 6 wires between the loco and tender similar to the way Bachmann manufactured their new ten wheelers. These 4-8-2 locomotives sound and run smoother then the first production run of these models. The tender is a medium USRA style with a larger hole for the wiring, adapted chassis for the electronics inside and a working coupler.

This locomotive performs best on E-Z Track curves with a minimum radius of 19 inches.
